  4. What do you think about asking what the referral source likes, admires, or respects about their friend, colleague, or family member? Have you noticed that some people bring this up on their own?
  5. Are you asking your referral source “what’s going on in their life (or business) that’s most important to them?” Can you see how this could help you get a better introduction and create a more compelling reason why the prospect should speak to you sooner rather than later?
